We’ve had visions of Sugar Plum Martinis dancing in our heads. ‘Twas the week before holiday break when all through the house, we were making tea cocktails and dancing about.
INGREDIENTS
- For Sugar Plum Martini
- 2oz vodka
- 2oz strongly brewed Hibiscus Berry tea
- 1oz Amaretto
- ½ lemon, juiced
- Ice
- Splash of ginger ale
For Sugared Cranberry Garnish (Optional)
- ½ cup sugar, divided
- ¼ cup water
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
INSTRUCTIONS

Brew Hibiscus Berry tea with 2oz of hot water. Let cool.

In a saucepan add ¼ cup sugar and ¼ cup water over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved and add cranberries, coating evenly. Drain the cranberries. Pour remaining sugar onto a plate and coat the cranberries in sugar.

In a shaker add the cooled Hibiscus Berry tea, vodka, amaretto, lemon juice, and a handful of ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into a martini glass and add a splash of ginger ale. Garnish with sugared cranberries.
